It can be quite embarrassing especially for the older generation who do not look as young as they used to, to suffer from body acne can be like going through puberty all over again.

The cause of body acne is usually the result of blocked pores that attract dirt and grime that end up suffocating the skin. Oil, dirt and sweat collect in the pores and they promote the growth of bacteria underneath the skin.  Body acne is similar to how facial acne is formed although it is generally the friction from clothing and bacteria that causes body acne. It could be a result of certain medications so it is worth discussing with your doctor if you are taking any medicines to see if there is any alternative.
